Men's basketball tipped off their 2019 season at Everett College, where the Trojans handed the Clippers the opening day loss 91-66. Balanced scoring among the four returners helped ignite the Clippers offense - Anthony Braggs (12), CaCoa Chatman (15), Ben Janssan (16), and Branden Bunn (14) - and fellow sophomore Torin Tinnin came in off the bench to add 6 points.
In Sunday's game against Edmonds, Branden Bunn was 5-7 from the 3 point line leading all scorers with 26 points, with Janssan just trailing with 23 points to deliver the Clippers their 1st victory of the 2019 season 86-69. Point guard CaCoa Chatman dropped 19 points and dished out 6 assists, while Anthony Braggs came close to the double-double with 14 points and 8 rebounds. The Clippers see one day of rest before traveling to Olympic College on Tuesday for the 6pm tip-off.
