MBB Best In the West!!!

The Clippers won a well fought match against Centralia at the Evergreen State College. While the crowd of 188 filled their bellies with burgers and hot dogs at the Tailgate Event, The Clippers set their minds on winning their ninth straight game. And win they did, bringing their record to 17-4.

Stand out performances by sophomores Branden Bunn, Ben Janssan, and Cacoa Chatman helped lead the Clippers to the title of "Best in the West" and second in the Northwest Athletic Conference behind North Idaho!

Branden crushed the boards with a team high 11 rebounds and 15 points, Big Ben put up 18 points, snatched 10 rebounds, and went 5 for 6 from the free throw line. While Coa led the team in scoring 26 points and going 6 for 9 from three point range, fellow sophomore Anthony Bragg offered up 7 assists along with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Freshman James Husband went 2 for 2 from three point range and added 10 points to the 84-75 victory.

The Clippers get to enjoy the weekend off before travelling north on Wednesday February 5th to face Tacoma (4-16).

Congrats on the win, gents!
