Michael Wade joined the SPSCC Men's Basketball staff before the 2020-21 season.

Before SPSCC, Wade spent the 2019-2020 season as the Head Girl's Basketball Coach for Lummi High School, leading the team to their first state tournament appearance since 2007. In addition, from 2015 through 2019, Wade served as the Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, Washington. During his tenure at WCC, the Orcas made multiple NWAC Tournament appearances, including a school-best second-place finish in 2015-16.

From 2013-15, Wade was the Director of Basketball Operations for Western Washington University (NCAA DII) in Bellingham, Washington.

Additionally, Wade serves as the Program Specialist overseeing the SPSCC Bookstore.
