The Clipper Men’s Soccer Program is excited to announce the signing of Saloum Malang from Franklin High School in Seattle, Washington. Saloum was a State Cup winner in 2018 for Seattle United under Coach Eric Cobb.
Coach Murillo commented “I am very pleased in signing Saloum. I have been tracking him for a while, as I know he is an outstanding young man who works extremely hard. He is a very humble person but when given the chance to compete, he is quite determined, especially in challenges. He works up and down the field contributing on both ends but his defensive positioning and reading of the game make him a real asset. I’m very excited for him to be the first in his family to attend college and pursue his academic goals. I know he will be a great addition to our program.”
