Last night South Puget Sound Community College hosted the 2nd annual Experience Olympia Sports Award, our Clippers Women's Basketball student-athlete Trinity Betoney took home the Women's Sport Star of the Year award. Trinity, the first ever SPS WBB student-athlete to win the NWAC West Region MVP Award, also was 2nd in scoring (21.6) and rebounding (10.1) in the entire Northwest Athletic Conference.
Men's Basketball student-athletes DeMonte Malloy and Hunter Sipe were also nominated for the Men's Sports Star of the Year for their accomplishments for the Clippers this season.
