Freshman Angelica Francisco had 22 points/6 assists and Sophomore Lainee Grose had 22 points/9 rebounds to lead SPSCC Women's Basketball to the home NWAC West Region victory over Pierce College Saturday afternoon 78-65. Opening up a commanding 25-12 lead after the 1st quarter, the Clippers, thanks to strong performances by all, were able to hold onto the victory. Jasmine Griffin had a double-double 15 points/10 assists and 7 rebounds to fill the stat sheet. SPSCC returns to action next Wednesday as they travel to Highline for the 6pm tip-off.
