Clippers Shut Out Gators 3-0

The Clippers shut out the Green River Gators Monday night to keep their NWAC West Region playoff hopes alive with the 3-0 victory.  After the close 25-22 victory in the 1st set the SPSCC hitters began to show their force as Airyn Jackson and Janae Odom found their rhythm and helped the Clippers take the remaining two sets netting 8 and 13 kills respectively.   SPSCC finished set 3 with a .600 hitting percentage, with 14 kills on 20 attempts.  A season high 11 service aces helped the Clippers offense with Savrina Paul registering 3, and Odom, Jackson and Sydney Miller all contributing 2 of their own.  Jayde Grams once again had a strong performance in the back row registering 10 digs, and Audra Suiaunoa was a force at the net tallying 4 blocks.  The Clippers head south Wednesday as they take on Centralia College at 7pm for another West Region match-up.
