Becca Mader was named the first head coach of SPSCC women’s soccer in May 2021. In the team’s inaugural NWAC season in 2022, Mader led the Clippers to three victories, including two conference wins. Prior to her time at SPSCC, Mader spent time coaching at the NCAA DI, DII and DIII levels, as well as doing strength and agility work for high school club teams. A three-sport collegiate athlete in soccer, basketball and track at St. Olaf College, Mader has coached each of those sports as well. Mader received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from St. Olaf and her master’s of education in sport pedagogy from Baylor University. She lives in Lacey with her husband, Karl, and golden retriever, Kepler.
