Men's Soccer Travels to Blue Mountain for Preseason Friendly

PENDLETON, Ore. - After a competitive showing at the NWAC Friendlies last week, Men's Soccer was ready to get back on the pitch and show their improved form. They would face off with Blue Mountain Community College in Pendelton, Oregon.

South Puget Sound would see themselves play Blue Mountain to a standstill as both teams were scoreless as halftime approached. However, a red card in the fortieth minute would change the match's complexion. The red card to Bryce Mizoguchi caused the Clippers to play the match's final fifty minutes down a man. Blue Mountain would capitalize on the advantage and score twice in the second half en route to a 2-0 victory.

Head Coach Kevin Schultz said after the match, "I am proud of the fight our guys showed, playing down a man for fifty minutes."
