
OLYMPIA, Wash - Men's Soccer earned their first point of the season in a 1-1 tie against the visiting Edmonds College Tritons. Freshman Mohamed Sesay scored his first collegiate goal in the fourth minute of the contest on an assist from Yuta Shimazu. The Clipper held that lead until the Tritons scored in the seventy-first minute to tie the match. When the final whistle sounded, the match ended in a 1-1 tie, with both teams receiving a point. Coach Kevin Schultz shared that while he was frustrated with the late goal, he was also impressed with the fight that his program showed today.
