Coach Chantel Dixon comes to SPSCC with an enormous love and dedication for the game of basketball.  She graduated from Yakima Valley Community College in 2014 where she played 2 successful years of basketball.  Coach Dixon received her Bachelors of Arts in History from of The University of Washington in 2015.  Her biggest passion is teaching the sport of basketball and social studies. Coach Dixon received her Masters of Secondary Education in Teaching from Grand Canyon University.  Over the past 7 years she has been coaching at one of the most successful AAU girls program in Washington state, named YEA (Young, Educated, Athletes).  Coach Dixon, has developed many girls over the years and helped them be successful individuals while simultaneously reaching their goals of playing basketball at 4-year colleges in numerous levels.  Coach Dixon has also been the Head Coach at Federal Way High School the past 3 years where she teaches Social Studies.
