Women's Soccer Falls to Centralia

OLYMPIA, Wash. - Wednesday saw the first match-up between the visiting Centralia College Blazers and the South Puget Sound Community College Clippers. The match officially started the regional play segment of each program's schedules. The Clippers will look to reset after a demanding preseason schedule for the first-year program. The Blazers would pepper Clipper's goalkeeper Grace Koonard with twenty-two shots, including twelve on goal. Grace continued to show improvement as she stopped nine of the twelve attempts. Ultimately, the Blazers would score three goals to secure the win. Becca Mader's team showed great resolve as they battled to the final whistle.
