Women's Soccer Falls To Bellevue In Season Opener

Tukwila, WASH. - Following an exhibition schedule that saw them play three games in the past ten days, the Women's Soccer team headed north to Tukwila for the NWAC Friendlies on Tuesday. They opened the regular season with a matchup against Bellevue College at Starfire Sports. The Clippers were without two critical returners as Bella Landers and Araceli Culp were unavailable. Still, they battled and kept the match even until Bellevue scored its only goal in the fifty-second minute. Sophomore Grace Koonard stopped nine of the Bulldog's ten shots on goal during the match.

Next up:
The Clippers face Shoreline Community College on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 6:00 pm. That match will wrap up the 2023 NWAC Friendlies for the Clippers.
