Clippers Explode for Six Goals in Win Over Shoreline

Tukwila, WASH. - SPSCC looked to notch their first win of the season as they faced Shoreline Community College on day two of the 2023 NWAC Friendlies at Starfire Complex in Tukwila. The Clippers controlled possession for much of the match, resulting in 19 more shots attempted than Shoreline.

In the closing minute of the first half, Anabelle Estrada found the back of the net to give the Clippers a one-nil lead at the half. The goal was the first of many on the night for Estrada, who would score in the sixty-eighth and eighty-seventh minutes to earn Woman of the Match honors.

Three other Clippers scored along with Estrada, including Michelle Maldonado, Trinity Nunez, and Miki Ness. The six goals are a new program record for a single match, topping the previous high of four.
