Women's Basketball Opens 2019 Season

Women's basketball opened up their 2019 season on the road Friday November 15th as they took on Whatcom Community College.  In an offensive battle, the Clippers fell to the Orcas 108-72.  Sophomores Jasmine Griffin and Lainee Grose led all Clippers in scoring with 27 and 24 points respectively.  Griffin completed the double-double pulling down 11 rebounds on the night, with freshman Jaysa Brandis grabbing 9.  In the Saturday game, the Clippers took on Skagit Valley, and were unable to overcome a slow start and fell 50-40 to the Cardinals.  Griffin and Grose were again the high scorers with 12 and 10, and sophomore Keilani Brown pulled down a game high 14 rebounds.   The Clippers will continue their pre-season schedule as they participate in the Linn-Benton Classic in Albany, OR 11/22-11/23.
